University of Findlay, 4:00 P.M. – VIP Room

The meeting was called to order by President Long at 4:00 p.m. with the following members present: Mr. Hanna, Mr. Axe and Mr. Snodgrass. Mr. Richards arrived a few minutes late and Mr. Palmer arrived much later due to other commitments. Also present were Mr. Morrison, Mr. Krauss and Mr. Brueggemeier.

The minutes of the February 16^th meeting were approved on a motion by Hanna/Axe. Mr. Morrison presented a financial report that included the payment of the February expenditures and indicated that the present checking account balance is $59,898.51. This report was approved on a motion by Axe/Snodgrass.

Mr. R. J. Euckert, former board member, has agreed to host the Northwest District’s hospitality room at the boys state basketball tournament. Individual board members volunteered to bring various items and snacks.

Revised spring tournament instructions are to be completed and forward to the secretary by March 22^nd. Mr. Axe and Mr. Palmer, baseball; Mr. Snodgrass, softball; Mr. Richards, track. Mr. Long has completed boys tennis.

A motion by Hanna/Richards and unanimously approved to contribute $100.00 for a gift for Margaret Ann Muscaro, to be presented at the ladies breakfast, and $400.00 for a retirement gift for Clair Muscaro.

Miscellaneous business:

a. Distribution of regional basketball tournament tickets.

b. Coordinators of individual fall sports are to, hopefully, have sites selected by the April meeting.

c. Discussed and tabled action on the Northwest District Board’s 2004-2005 budget.

d. Mr. Long will draft a form to be given to managers for reimbursement for attending meetings.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m. after which the Board met with the Appeals and Review Board.

The next meeting will be held APRIL 5 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FINDLAY AT 4:00 P.M. SPRING TOURNAMENT MANAGERS WILL MEET WITH THE BOARD AT 4:45 P.M.
