President Long called the meeting to order at
The minutes of the January 7th meeting were approved on a motion by Hanna/Snodgrass. Mr. Morrison’s treasurer’s report indicated a checking account balance of $87,371.11 and he also submitted the December bills for payment. This report was approved on a motion by Snodgrass/Palmer.

After a lengthy discussion on the types of programs that tournament managers use, the Board agreed to study this issue at the summer meeting.
Mr. Hanna, Chairman of the Student Athlete Scholarship Program, reported on the changes made in the awarding of scholarships at the State level. The scholarships will be provided according to classification $2000.00 and $1000.00 amounts. The procedure for awarding the twenty Northwest $750.00 scholarships will be finalized in February.
Individual Coordinators will review and make recommendations for any possible changes in managers and officials fees for the 2004-2005 school year. There will be no changes for these fees in spring sports for this year.
A motion by Snodgrass/Palmer and unanimously approved to set the following dates: Change the March meeting date of the Board to the 8th, establish a meeting with the OIAAA Executive Board on May 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the University of Findlay and the Fall Principals meeting on Thursday, September 21st.
Miscellaneous business:
1. Tournament sites for baseball were provided by the Coordinators. The secretary will contact the schools for the availability of their facilities.
2. Board members and others were assigned to various District sites for trophy presentations.

1. Establish playing dates for baseball and softball tournaments.
2. Cross bracketing the Sectional winners in District tournaments.
3. Handbook for tournament managers.
